The Ozone Enduro V5 is an all-round kite suited to both beginners and more advanced riders. It is the most versatile kite in the Ozone range: you can use it for freestyle, high jumps and kiteloops in a wide range of conditions. This new kite is available in size 12 m, in the colors Rubine / red / white.
The V5 is inspired by the Vortex, Ozone's dedicated big air kite. It has a pulley-less 16-point bridle and improved canopy tension, which give the kite more lift and hangtime and make the bar feel lighter and more direct. This makes powered and gusty sessions easier to handle. The kite sits slightly further forward in the wind window, which helps with vertical lift, less pull in loops and riding upwind.
According to Ozone, the kite was tested for years. It has a Teijin dacron airframe and Triple Ripstop canopy. The leading edge arc has been refined for a smooth curve from tip to tip. Anti-flap battens and anti-snag line deflectors on the tips are retained. You can trim the backlines on the tip: attaching them closer to the leading edge gives more bar pressure and a slower turning speed, while attaching them closer to the trailing edge gives less bar pressure and faster turning.
