The Flysurfer Force 3 Control Bar is a new bar that you can set up to suit the way you kite. It is a one-size-fits-all bar with a straightforward, user-friendly system, designed for safety and reliability, even in demanding conditions.
The LINK Quick Release has an integrated ball-bearing swivel that lets the bar rotate freely with little resistance. The chicken loop clicks in easily. According to Flysurfer, the ISO-certified push-away quick release works in warm, cold, sandy and wet conditions.
The modular eyelet lets you switch the bar shaft from automatic to manual untwisting. To do this, you remove two metal pins in the centre of the shaft with an Allen key. The depower lines then run without a line separator, which reduces wear and gives more freedom when steering and depowering at the same time. Flysurfer recommends this for technical big air tricks and board-offs with multiple rotations.
The winders are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide with moulded EVA padding. At the press of a button you remove the centrepiece and change the backline attachment points and line length to your preference and the kite you fly. The small chicken loop is standard and made for hooked-in riding. For unhooked styles, a Freestyle Safety Ring and a bigger loop are available.
